• Your Sikkim exploration kicks off with your arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri
Railway Station. Gather at the designated pickup point, details of which will be shared
three days before your journey.
• Depart for Gangtok in the comfort of a private vehicle, soaking in the picturesque drive
alongside the Teesta River. Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel and take a
well-deserved rest.
• Later in the evening, explore the vibrant Mg Marg for shopping and indulge in the local
street food scene. The overnight stay in Gangtok provides a cozy introduction to the
upcoming adventures.
• Fuel up with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a full day excursion from Gangtok.
Begin your day at the stunning Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, admired for
its changing colors and breathtaking vistas.
• Continue your exploration to Baba Mandir, a sacred shrine dedicated to soldier Baba
Harbhajan Singh of the Indian Army. If you're up for it, consider hiring a taxi for an
additional visit to Nathula Pass, an Indo-China border post (subject to availability
and extra cost).
• Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay, cherishing the day's experiences.
• Post a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic 125 km drive to Lachen,
a journey that unfolds over approximately 6 hours. Along the way,
pause for a brief halt at Naga Falls, renowned as one of Sikkim's
tallest waterfalls.
• The journey continues, passing through the quaint Chungthang village,
where the convergence of Lachen and Lachung rivers adds to the scenic
charm. Opt for the left route from Chungthang, traversing the
Kanchenjunga National Park en route to Lachen.
• Accommodate yourself for an overnight stay in Lachen, surrounded by the
serene beauty of North Sikkim.
• Start your day with a wholesome breakfast, gearing up for the day's
adventures.
• Head northwards to explore Gurudongmar Lake, situated at one of India's
highest altitudes.
• En route, traverse Thangu Village, a remote Tibetan nomadic settlement,
adding cultural richness to your journey.
• Marvel at the mesmerizing beauty of Gurudongmar Lake before commencing
the drive towards Lachung via Lachen Hotel.
• Enjoy lunch at Lachen Hotel and then proceed with your luggage to Lachung,
arriving in the evening for an overnight stay immersed in the tranquil
surroundings.
• Following a hearty breakfast, set out on a northbound drive from Lachung.
Your first stop is the enchanting Yumthang Valley, often referred to as
the "valley of flowers" and aptly dubbed the "Switzerland of North East India".
• Explore the captivating landscapes before continuing the journey towards Zero Point,
marking the final frontier of civilization. Conclude the sightseeing and embark on
the return journey to Gangtok.
• Upon arrival, check into your accommodations, reflecting on the day's exploration.
• Conclude your Sikkim adventure with a leisurely breakfast, preparing for
the return journey.
• The trip concludes as you are dropped off at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri
Railway Station, marking the end of an unforgettable exploration through the
diverse and mesmerizing landscapes of Sikkim.
• Each day of this detailed itinerary unfolds a new chapter, blending cultural richness,
natural wonders, and immersive experiences.
In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
